Following a disappointing opening last month, I last night regained my confidence and took an important fame to level the contest at 1/1. And with the prize money a potential £60, it’s important not to let my opponent make any headway at this early stage.
Campbell never really got a foothold in the game and will rue missing some easy chances that opened the frame up and gave me plenty opportunity. In retrospect it wasn’t pretty, but I produced the goods and eventually won by some 40 odd points.
