World Snooker NW10.
Before I start, last night was an away fixture and the table wasn’t in very good condition. It was very small and the resolution was poor (around 576i).

Several rounds of Burnout 3 ‘crash for cash’ had taken their toll, and that combined with the poor quality of the table, meant the game seemed very slow to start.
When I came round I’d fallen behind slightly and there was a bit to do. Again it was scrappy, but I finished well (with some new found confidence). 60 odd - 20 ish was the final score, taking me to a 2-1 lead with £30 in the pot.
Another £5 in each and we entered frame two of the evening. I was riding high with two wins on the bounce. But by this time the night was wearing on and both of us were becoming increasingly tired and un-coordinated. What followed was generally a shambles and best forgotten - a couple of well placed shots being the difference in the end.
Campbell ‘destroyed’ my slim early lead and took frame 4 (which I think was more to do with the quality of the opposition that any gifted cue action).
Cooper 2 – 2 Campbell
Prize Pot £40
Roll on frame 5.
