Vodafone Symphonia
Vodafone New Zealand have created a follow up to last years AKQA Christmas Microwave thing. Rather than microwaves, they’ve employed 1000 cellphones and 53 different alerts to play Tchaikovsky‘s 1812 overture.
Here’s a making of, which I wouldn’t normally advocate – but this deserves an explanation:

Nice. One thing that does bother me however, is that nobody spotted/pushed for ‘Sim’phonia.
