Twiddict
Twiddict is a service that enables tweeting even when Twitter is down. Apparently Twiddict constantly hammers the Twitter API to see if the service is up again. It’ll send you messages as soon as Twitter resumes normal operation. It’s kinda funny that someone has built a service simply because it’s parent is so unstable.
See Twittermail also.
