The Empire Swedes Back*

In case you missed it Star Wars Uncut is a project that enables 472 people the chance to recreate Star Wars: A New Hope. Basically the entire movie has been split up into 15 second clips which anyone can re-shoot. Once all the scenes have been remade they’ll all be reassembled to create the a UG movie.

Here’s a few of the scenes so far:

I was pretty cynical about the end product of this project, but the more I follow it the more I love it. Just the fact that it’s actually happening is awesome and some of the stuff coming out of it is well neat.

Now I can’t wait to see the end result.
