Sola | Live Emotion Status
Sola is a project by interaction designer Nobu Nakaguchi that aims to help users literally “wear their heart on their sleeve.” The device captures heart rate, temperature and skin response and then matches that data to one of eight primary emotions – joy, trust, fear, surprise, sadness, disgust, anger and anticipation. The emotion is then broadcast via a mobile to Twitter, Facebook et al. Mr Nakaguchi has set his Twitter profile pic to change based on that emotion.
