Seesmic 4 Twhirl
Seesmic is a video micro blogging web application dubbed the “Twitter of video”, although chat doesn’t actually take place in real time. It does however enable users to record and share short videos and respond to videos from other users.
Seesmic has acquired Twhirl, one of the web’s most popular desktop clients for Twitter. Twhirl is built on Adobe AIR and is essentially making Twitter more like instant messaging. As Tweets come in, you get an alert etc. Twhirl also works with other micrblogging services like Jaiku and Pownce.
I don’t really understand how Seesmic is going to improve my life, or infact, WTF does it actually really does. Twhirl is good thou’ and I guess I like the idea of video twitter, so I a combo is probably very wise.
