In the lobby of the Studio of my good friend Jimmy Hansen - it’s produced by kollektivetlivet. They took the pattern of the wallpaper he has, made a stencil and fucked it all up. It looks brilliant. Check out their site, they have some top stuff there.

AG

This is a really good bar- go there if you can. Kronobergsgatan 37, 2 tr 112 34, it doesn’t really look like anything from the outside, just follow the music up the stairs and you won’t be disappointed.

12 (drunk) Fernet Branka.
Sweet.
Drinking with Jimmy Hansen
Makes your head hurt. Last night I went to Metro with my good friend Jimmy Hansen (the famous photographer). I love Jimmy because he loves beer. Most of the evening was spent discussing how far it actually is to Malmo and the fact that when people get drunk they start talking Barglish.
Brilliant.

Walking in Enskede

Cold but beautiful and we had a picnic. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Yoshi’s Island DS

I can happily say this is exactly what I would come to expect from a Yoshi’s Island game. It is practically a carbon copy (as I remember it) of the SNES/GBA outings - but that is certainly not such a bad thing. There’s little as enjoyable as romping through brilliantly designed levels - learning new and increasingly fun tricks for a small Dinosaur. Top. I needn’t go much further as Yoshi’s Island DS doesn’t - if you’ve got a DS and a weakness for cute, playable, well designed games, then this is a must.
Stockholm 3:30 PM

The light here is different - beautiful, yet different. Oh and it’s cold.

Have Wii been forgotten?
Sadly, I can’t help feeling let down by Nintendo. I have always been a huge fan and follower the big N, but I now find myself struggling to come to terms with a newfound Wii apathy. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always really admired Nintendo for it’s innovation and what it has done for the industry. Let’s face it, they’ve had a massive hand in making games, consoles and gamers what they are today. But it’s no longer enough.
Maybe I have been brainwashed by Microsoft, but I can’t help feeling like this is ‘that toy’, you know, the one everyone always said Nintendo makes. It feels like a gimmick and a novelty - and I know Nintendo, will I see enough killer apps to make Wii worth my while? Because ports just aren’t going to cut it when I have a 360 and PS3 sitting under my tele. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy just don’t excite me like the next wave of 360 and dare I say it, PS3 titles do.
Yes, I know, I am a gamer and the Wii isn’t really aimed at me, but that kinda makes me sad. After all the years and love that I and so many others have invested in Nintendo - how dare they just drop me?
Snow Patrol
Last night my wife and I went to see Snow Patrol at Wembley Arena. I have to admit I had been ever-so-slightly hard on Snow Patrol following their recent commercial success and had tarnished them with the ‘Coldplay’ brush. I was wildly veering into the - they are way too popular to be cool enough for me to be interested in them - school of thought. Which on reflection, is rich, because I do like them and I am not (however much i like to think so) cool. Anyway, Snow Patrol were top - although I didn’t know which song was which, because they all sounded a little bit the same. Looking back that wasn’t such a bad thing as it felt like I knew all the songs…
Pressure
Just because I have a new blog I feel like I need to write somehing. The fact is that I don’t really have much to say today, not much has happened.
