I like the YouTube search bar that now appears on YouTube embedded video (see below). The search results appear in the embed window and the found film plays in there to, without sending you off out of your location. It’s a bit big, but it’s smart useful and well thought through.
I don’t like that some of the videos are now served via AdSense targeting. An overlay pops up and delivers messages based on search results/video content, monetizing the embed. It’s clever, but a but annoying and not useful.
Boo.
Apparently you can turn the search bar off, by adding the parameter “&showsearch=0″.
