10 million colours extracted the from the most “interesting” Creative Commons images on Flickr. Using ‘visual-similarity’ technology you can search and navigate the entire collection by colour.

Very nice. Now that Flickr has several billion photos, I think there’ll be more call for new and interesting ways into the content.
I just hacked together something similar using Pipes and WordPress – it displays pictures of certain keywords from geotagged Flickr pictures of a city, e.g love, death, party. I’ve got London up and running, will add others when I have a moment to wrestle with WordPresse’s category templates.
