Giganotosaurus beats Tyrannosaurus to the coveted title of ‘largest know flesh-eater’. Giganotosaurus reached lengths of up to 12.5 m and could weigh a whopping 8 tonnes, compared to the T-Rex (as Dino’ experts say), which fell short at 12 m and just 6 tonnes.
