Cosmopolitan
“This guide is for everyone who enjoys the pleasure of a sublime cocktail. There are plenty of bars in New York City, and plenty of talented bartenders who know how to pour a drink and keep their customers happy. Only a few, however, have elevated the bar experience to a level of fine dining where transcendent tastes are paired with the magic of melting inhibitions. These rare barkeeps appreciate the small touches that distinguish a great drink—the chilled glass, the freshly squeezed juice, the house-made simple syrup—and the importance of refined intimacy. Hidden behind a certain unmarked door, tucked into the back of an unassuming Japanese restaurant, or through the hatch of a “phone booth,” Gotham’s most talented and well-trained mixologists are waiting to treat you to the exquisite experience that is the classic Manhattan cocktail bar.”

Can-o-flauge
Thanks to these camoflauge vinyl can wraps, you can discreetly hide your alcohol problem behind an ‘inconspicuous‘ soft drink facade.
Physical Networking

So here’s the thing; my Swedish friend Martin from Far Far was reading my blog. He happened across a post describing a Bar in New York in which I had enjoyed a refreshing beverage this week. Turns out that he has an appartment right by that bar so he rang me up and sugessted we go for another refreshing cold beverage. Which we did, here, in the Blue Fin on Time Square.
I think this is a splendid example of how, what is essentially a totally virtual enviroment and community, crossed the line and went physical.
Oh, and while we were there we saw this man with a cat on his hat. Surprisingly he became angry when I took a photo of him. The cat however was placid throughout, almost as if it had been heavily sedated…

In theory this is good - but I’m not entirely sure what’s going on here…

Drink And Drive

The X-Treme Cooler Scooter, available in 300 and 500 watt versions, can go up to 20 MPH, and has a range of 10-15 miles. It’s got brakes, but the best thing is that you can get a lovely drink out of the cooler while driving.
And you can pick one up for just $380 (I make that roughly about £183.789p).
WOW.
