Comes With Music
Opentape
Opentape is a free, open-source package that lets you make and host your own mixtapes on the web. Upload songs (via web or FTP), reorder, rename, customize the style, and share what you like on other sites with an embeddable player.
Telemegaphone
Telemegaphone Dale stands seven metres tall on top of the Bergskletten mountain overlooking the idyllic Dalsfjord in Western Norway. When you dial the Telemegaphone’s phone number the sound of your shouty voice is projected out across the fjord, the valley and the village of Dale below.
8 Tracks
Mixtape thing (like muxtape), you can upload MP3s or select tracks from the 8tracks library to make a playlist. Add a description and cover art and then publish your mix on 8tracks and your own webpage.
Drum And Bassycle

The Stereobike Crew in Queens, New York, are pimping out their BMX bikes with thumpin’ sound rigs. With names like Tinnitus Rex and Frankenbike, the rigs are constructed using car stereo speakers and amps with millions of watts.
Someone has made a film about them, which I’m hoping is a little bit like Breakdance 2: Electric Boogaloo.
My Blip
Band Aid

Iain has made this page that pulls a random group of soloists from YouTube and forms them into a band. It made my head hurt a bit but I like it. I like the idea of an orchestra too. How about if someone did a whole orchestra?
Iain?
Chemical Concept
“Make a short clip (from 2 to 20 seconds) or shoot a photograph about your favourite Chemical Brothers track. Upload your work [here] to the special Google Map and tag it to it’s global location. A selection of the best work will be featured in a new concept music video for the Chemical Brothers to celebrate the launch of their new album ‘Brotherhood’. Videos will feature on a Google Earth channel available on September 1, as well as on the Chemical Brothers Youtube channel.”
I don’t really get it, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
Bit Player
Scan your purchase with your webcam and get free (exclusive) music etc.
Nice.
Free Isn’t Free Enough
Around 2.3 million folk decided that free In Rainbows wasn’t cheap enough and went to BitTorrent to grab the files instead of going to Radiohead’s site…
Favetape
Create & share an instant mixtape of your Pandora bookmarked songs or Last.fm loved tracks.

Rockcorps
Orange RockCorps is basically community service for gig tickets. Transform and rebuild your local area, and you get a ticket to a big old gig at the Royal Albert Hall. You can’t buy a ticket, you can’t win a ticket - you gotta to earn a ticket.
POKE, once again you rock.
Brilliant.
My Drive Thru
The official music video for the song “My Drive Thru” by Santogold, Julian Casablancas, and N.E.R.D. It’s essentially an ad, made for the Converse Century campaign. Converse can so get away advert music videos, simply because of their heritage, they’re allowed.
Not many brands can, yet most desperately want too.
