Asimo // Robot // Brain // Hat

Honda has developed brain-machine interface (BMI) that allows humans to control the Asimo humanoid robot simply by thinking certain thoughts. The BMI system consists of a rather fetching sensor-laden helmet that measures the user’s brain activity and a computer device controller that analyzes the thought patterns and relays commands to the cute little robot.

When the ’silly hat’ wearing person thinks about moving his or her right hand, the Asimo responds accordingly and raises the appropriate limb. Obviously you can see how this system might apply to walking and other actions. I won’t go into specifics, they can be found here.

Can anyone else see what’s going on here? These scientists need to check themselves. That ‘cute’ little (megalomanic) robot has got them (arguably some of the smartest people in the world) to wear a silly hat which means it can freely suck in the intelligence out of their heads. Meanwhile all his little robot mates, hiding in spaceships surrounding the earth, are watching – laughing their shiny little helmets off.

Cunning little f**kers.
