Anomaly | Designs of the Year Award
Today The Design Museum announced it’s Design Awards, or ‘the Oscars of the design world’ as they say on their pipe. The awards showcase the most innovative and progressive designs from around the world, spanning seven categories: Architecture, Digital, Fashion, Furniture, Graphics and Transport and Product. This years the nominations includes little things like the 787 Dreamliner by Boeing, The Duchess of Cambridge’s Wedding Dress, Xbox Kinect and the Olympic 2012 Velodrome. Oh, and this – from us:

A high profile judging panel will decide the best entries in each of the seven categories. Category award winners and the overall winner of the Design of the Year Award 2012 will be announced at an Awards event in April 2012. The winners will be announced at an Awards Night held at the Design Museum on 24 April.
