Alice | Household Shopping Bliss
Alice is an ecommerce site for toiletries and general household essentials that recommendations products based on who lives in your house and then basically manages those product needs so as you never run out of stuff. The site offers loads of features to help you do that, such as reorder reminders. advanced planning features and live ticker coupons. Alice will also tell you how much you buy, when you’re buying, your average spending, and then compare that data with that of comparable families. All the prices are spot-checked so they are comparable or even cheaper then most reputable high street prices. The site also sports ‘Alice’s Neighborhood’ a giant big chat function so, if you have a question, concern, or are just plain bored you can ask someone (like you) to help.
Alice is super smart – it’s adding huge value to a process that is historically mundane yet totally necessary. And what I also like about it is that it’s a good demonstration that online utility is not restricted solely to glam brands like Apple, Nokia or Nike etc.
I’m hoping all ecommerce will go this way soon – then I will never have to go shopping again.
