My Three Stripes

The premise - If you look you’ll always see three stripes. A web and print campaign aimed at non-sports style audience encouraging the reognition and recording of three stripes. Those images would then be uploaded to mythreestripes.com with a short description of what the location of the stripes means to the contributer. The favoured locations are then mapped visually online - creating a global community of three stripe people and places. Adidas would then use the three stripes to mark areas of interest (think blue circles in London) to their audience.

I pitched the idea, to the Global Head of Advertising at the Corporate Headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

He said no.
